By registering with Northampton Judo Academy, parents/guardians and members agree to follow the club’s rules, policies, and expectations at all times during training sessions, competitions, events, and club-related activities.Our goal is to maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and positive environment for all players, parents, coaches, volunteers, officials, and visitors.
We do not tolerate abusive, aggressive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, or disrespectful behaviour towards:
• Coaches
• Players
• Volunteers
• Staff members
• Officials and referees
• Parents and spectators
• Other club members
This applies:
• In the dojo
• At competitions and events
• In emails, messages, phone calls, and social media interactions
• During any club-related activity
The club reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership where behaviour is considered inappropriate or harmful to the club environment.
All coaching decisions made by Northampton Judo Academy staff are made in the best interests of safety, fairness, player development, and the running of sessions and competitions.
Coaches and staff must be treated respectfully at all times, including when disagreements arise.
Parents/guardians and members are expected to:
• Follow safeguarding instructions given by staff
• Respect dojo etiquette and venue rules
• Help maintain a positive environment for all children and members
• Avoid behaviour that disrupts sessions or competitions
Any safeguarding concerns should be reported directly to the club through official communication channels.
Official club communication takes place through:
• Club email
• Official WhatsApp groups
• Approved club communication channels
We ask that all communication remains respectful and appropriate.
Membership fees and subscriptions must be kept up to date.The club reserves the right to pause or cancel memberships for:
• Repeated misconduct
• Breaches of club policies
• Non-payment
• Behaviour affecting the safety or wellbeing of others
Parents and members are responsible for ensuring competition entries, attendance, and relevant information are communicated correctly to the club where required.
All members and spectators are expected to behave respectfully towards event staff, referees, volunteers, and other clubs.
Photography or filming during sessions may be restricted for safeguarding and privacy reasons.
Parents and spectators must follow any instructions given by coaches or staff regarding photography and filming.
All photos and videos taken by Northampton Judo Academy LTD are the property of the club and are protected by copyright. These images and videos are used exclusively for our promotional purposes on social media and other official platforms. They cannot be reused, redistributed, or requested for personal use without explicit permission from Northampton Judo Academy LTD.
Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the club about any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or additional needs that may affect participation or first aid.
Northampton Judo Academy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time where necessary for safeguarding, operational, legal, or club development reasons.
