On Saturday, 15thΒ November 2025, we benchmarked a milestone! We hosted our first ever competition as Northampton Judo Academy. The Northampton Autumn Championships brought together 4 local judo clubs, with 46 medals awarded across the day.
The standard of judo, the behaviour on the mat, and the atmosphere in the venue were exactly what we hoped for. There was strong competition, but also great sportsmanship, respect between players, and plenty of positive energy from everyone attending.
Weβre proud to have taken this step as a club and to provide a competition that supports development and fair, enjoyable judo.

Well done to all of our youngest players for stepping onto the mat and taking part in their first competition-style event.

Thank you to all clubs, coaches, referees, table staff, parents, and players who helped make this event run smoothly. It was a strong first step for Northampton Judo Academy as an organising club.
Onto the next one!
