Coventry Minimon for Boys and Girls November 2025

On Saturday, 1st November 2025, 8 of our judokas from Northampton Judo Academy travelled to Coventry to compete in the Minimon Boys & Girls competition.

This was a Level 1 development event, designed to give young players a safe and supportive environment to gain competition experience, test their judo, and build confidence on the mat.

These events give young players the chance to apply what they practise in class against new opponents, under proper contest conditions.

We’re proud of all eight of our players who took part. Stepping onto the mat, competing away from home, and facing new opponents is a big part of development, and everyone gained something from the day.
