Brentwood NHC Low Grade Development Event

On 5 May 2025, Northampton Judo Academy  made an impressive mark at the Brentwood NHC Low Grade Development Event. It was a day packed with high-level matches, tough competition, and brilliant performances from our Judokas.

The event brought together talented competitors from many clubs, creating a strong and challenging environment. Our players rose to the occasion, showing not only skill and technique but also incredible spirit and determination throughout the day. Every fight, whether a win or a loss, was an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow.

Patrick delivered an outstanding performance, securing gold with confident and tactical judo.  Oscar  fought his way to silver medals, showing excellent progress and sharp focus on the mat. Roberta, Jacob, and Dima each battled through tough matches to earn their well-deserved bronze medals, demonstrating resilience and strong fighting spirit.

Beyond the podium finishes, the event was an important step in the development journey for all involved. The experience gained, lessons learned, and feedback collected will fuel the next stages of training. Wins and losses alike are valuable – what matters most is stepping back on our dojo with the chins up and working on getting better and better!

We are proud of the commitment shown by every single member of our team. The energy, attitude, and resilience on display throughout the day reflected the spirit we aim to build at Judo Academy Northampton.
